Load-in/Load-Out
During Load-in on Friday afternoon and Load-out on Sunday afternoon, Teams are asked to take the following path:
- Following College Drive, turn left onto the South Access Road (across from the NUSU Student Union building)
- Take the first right turn towards the Athletics Centre
- Pull up as far forward as possible along the sidewalk (right-hand side)
Please keep the left-hand lane clear for passing traffic. Teams may not leave vehicles unattended, the Driver must remain in their vehicle at all times during Load-in/Load-out.
Boxed Lunch Pre-orders
Teams will once again have the option to order Boxed Lunches through Sodexo, Nipissing University’s on-campus food vendor. All boxed lunches include a sandwich/wrap, salad, whole fruit, cookie, and a beverage. Vegetarian, Vegan, and Gluten Free options are available.

Completed forms can be sent via email to [email protected]. Forms must be received by Friday March 13 at the latest.
Machine Shop
The Machine Shop will be located in a trailer parked outside the east entrance, near the Pits. The Machine Shop will service teams one at a time, with a maximum of two team members and/or mentors permitted in the trailer.
Tentative Schedule:
- Friday: 5PM to 8:45PM
- Saturday: 8AM to 7:45PM
- Sunday: 8AM to 4PM
Mentor and VIP Lounge
Once again, the Mentor and VIP lounge will be located in the Conference Room on the 2nd Floor (Room AC203) overlooking the competition field. The lounge will be open all day on Saturday and Sunday, with coffee, tea, hot chocolate and snacks available. A reception for Event Sponsors and VIPs will be held on Saturday at 11:30AM following Opening Ceremonies.
Dean’s List and FIRST Impact Interview Rooms
Interview Rooms will be located in the Squash Courts on the Ground Floor (Rooms AC133 & AC134), at the north end of the building.
Scouting Rooms
Nipissing University has kindly booked classrooms in the Education Centre for teams to use as Scouting Rooms on Saturday evening (March 21). If your team would like to book a Scouting Room, please visit Pit Administration.
WiFi
Nipissing University provides free public Wi-Fi across its campus. Wi-Fi availability is subject to change based on field/gameplay interference.
In accordance with FIRST rules, Teams may not set up their own wireless access points in the venue. A wireless hotspot created by a smartphone, camera, smart TV, etc. is also considered an access point (see Rule E301 in the Game Manual).
