Join us in shaping the next generation of changemakers! Having fun, feeling energized, and being fulfilled are all benefits of volunteering with FIRST. As an event volunteer you will empower students to be good global citizens who understand that they can use their collective skills to make a positive impact in one person’s life, in their community, and even the world. No matter your availability and the level you want to be involved in, there is a role for you, from field resetters to judges, and emcees to referees. Some roles require minimal time commitment with succinct day-of preparation, while others may require pre-event training and longer participation on event days.

If a participant needs an accommodation for an event, please reach out to the Volunteer Coordinator prior to the event so they can help ensure an accommodation is available and that the role is the right fit. Accommodations are determined reasonable given they do not create an undue hardship or cause safety concerns.

The minimum age requirement for a FIRST volunteer is 13 years old. A minor must have a parent or guardian give written permission to volunteer and minors must work in pairs as assigned by FIRST in accordance with the FIRST Youth Protection Program policy.

2. Click the Volunteer Registration tab & choose ‘Event Volunteering’.
3. Using the filters, search for and select ‘ONT District North Bay Event’
4. Choose up to five roles and apply.
5. Complete your required youth protection background screening
